3rd April to the 8th May 2026, Winsford Library

An exhibition showcasing the work of the participants in the the second 6-week workshop series delivered by Dr. Alexandrou Modoi in Spring 2026 is now on display at Winsford Library. The workshops are a partnership between Cine Window Winsford and Chester Photo Festival, offering participants the opportunity to explore photography as a storytelling medium, focusing on accessing memories and personal feelings.

The participants have produced and printed their own photographs, produced their own personal statements and mounted their work using preservation practices. The work on display includes diverse approaches to the photographic media, from hand-made prints to digital processes, accompanied by texts that create a ‘photo entanglement’ between story and image.
